Beth Sweetow is a retired Senior Vice President with Bank of America. She worked in various departments at BofA, including Trust and Private Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Residential Real Estate and Corporate Finance. Beth first met Deborah Slater as a Business Volunteer for the Arts (BVA) in the early 1990s. She joined the Board of the Business Arts Council, the umbrella organization for BVA, in the mid –1990s and served as its President. Beth moved to the Bay Area in 1975 after several years in Chicago, and has lived in the San Francisco since 1980, except for a brief return to her home state of Pennsylvania from 1997-2003. She has extensive non-profit board experience, serving on the boards of the San Francisco YWCA, the Nittany Valley (State College, PA) Symphony, the Centre County (PA) Historical Society, as well as AOTM. She is a member of the Baldwin School (Bryn Mawr, PA) Advisory Committee and is a long-standing Class Fundraiser for Smith College. She has an A.B. from Smith College and an M.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan.
