Ways Not to Drown

A Dance Theatre Workshop with Deborah Slater

It’s playtime for grown-ups! In this dance theatre workshop, you will create new material, gain specific, repeatable tasks to use in your own process, learn tools for writing, moving and vocalization, do experiments you never thought to try and end up somewhere you didn’t expect to be.

Each 4-hour workshop welcomes movers, writers, and artists of all kinds, regardless of experience level.

1 - 5pm at Studio 210
$80 / $60 Arts Access

Talking Dances Workshop

Are you looking to deepen your understanding of the connection between voice, body, and performance? Join Deborah Slater for this one-day workshop focusing on working with text and incorporating it into performance work. Participants will have the chance to investigate new ways of sourcing and devising text and movement, along with exploring a piece of writing of their choice.
